Welcome to Help with my Homework!
What is this forum about? Well, the title says it all, really.
It's a forum where people battling to understand anything, from Pythagoras's Theorem to why 'He ain't heavy, he's my brother'* isn't acceptable in formal writing, or why William Blake couldn't spell 'tiger', can ask the Internet community for help.
It is hoped that someone who reads your post will be able to help you, or refer you to a useful site (or even one of those outdated three-dimensional objects with pages and a cover) where you can find help. In turn, you may be able to help others with their questions.
The forum is intended for students of all ages, from school level to college/university level. When asking a question, please start a new topic in the appropriate sub-forum (e.g. English, Spanish, Mathematics, History). It would be useful if you included your grade level in the title, for example a History question might be titled Help with the Battle of Waterloo (Grade 9), or a college-level Physics question might be titled Question on Quantum Mechanics (sophomore). Teachers and college professors may also find the forum useful, because it will highlight the kinds of questions their students have about the work they're covering.
Questions should be about things that you find difficult to understand, or information that's difficult to find. Try not to ask questions that could be simply answered by going to Wikipedia or Wiktionary, or by entering a few keywords into Google. Also, please note that this forum is not for asking others to write your assignment for you, to read and correct your assignment, or for buying or selling custom-written assignments.
Be aware that the answers to your questions may not necessarily be correct, or they may not be the only possible answers. Double-check them by consulting the Internet, reference books or your teachers. Also, no-one is obliged to answer your question: if no-one knows the answer, your question may be ignored. If you don't get an answer, pms me or one of the as-yet unappointed moderators, and we will do our best to direct you to sources where you can find what you're looking for.
Please read the Forum Rules thread before posting. The rules are minimal and, I hope, sensible.
I trust you will enjoy the forum, and find it rewarding!
